HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WASH MY VEHICLE?
That depends on many variables, for example: personal taste, preferences, expectations, where you park your car, and where you drive. Magnolia Car Wash recommends you wash your vehicle once per week.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I NEED TO WAX MY VEHICLE?
That again depends on personal taste and preference. One way to test is by running your finger on a fresh washed surface, if it “squeaks” that is when you need a coat of wax.
WHY DO I NEED TO WAX MY VEHICLE AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR WAXING MY VEHICLE?
Waxing protects the paint finish from the elements by coating the surface with wax polymers, resins, and silicones. Additionally, waxing also “locks in” the gloss, creating a brilliant finish, deepening/enriching dark colors, as well as other benefits that include water beading and light swirl removal, depending on the formulation.
HOW LONG DOES WAX LAST?
There is no standard answer, as there are many variables that effect wax durability type and condition of point. For example, local environment, exposure duration, quality and type of wax, quality of car wash, and your personal preference and expectations. Generally speaking, Magnolia Car Wash recommends waxing your vehicle every 2 to 3 months but more frequent is better.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS “CLEAR COAT SAFE”?
All products we use have been formulated to work safely on clear coats. All of our Meguiar’s products have a long-standing history and relationship with vehicle and paint manufactures, ensuring products are compatible with the latest technology advancements in vehicle surface coating (or paint).

WHY DO I HAVE WATER SPOTS ON MY VEHICLE?
The same water that you use for a shower can damage your vehicle’s paint. The spots and damage you notice on your vehicle are caused by minerals in the water, as water evaporates off of your vehicle, the excess traces of calcium and metal deposits are left behind and can damage the paint on your vehicle. Rainwater can also contain damaging acids due to air pollution. The most common water spots come from sprinklers. If water from sprinklers dries, a clear coat can develop. To prevent this from damaging your vehicle’s paint, no water can be allowed to bake onto your vehicle for more than 2 days. Maintain your vehicle with regular washes to prevent water spots from forming in the first place.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 100% HAND WASH AND MACHINE WASH FACILITIES?
It does not matter how machine wash facilities advertise the softness of their washcloths; they will still scratch, swirl, or otherwise damage your vehicle’s paint finish, especially dark-colored vehicles (not to mention potential damage to antennae, mirrors, etc.). At Magnolia Car Wash, we offer 100% hand wash services with microfiber towels and mitts to ensure that your vehicle is washed without causing scratches or other damage.
WHAT IF IT RAINS AFTER I WASH MY VEHICLE?
No worries; Magnolia Car Wash offers you a 48 hour rain check. If it rains within 48 hours of washing your vehicle, just bring in your receipt and we will wash it again for free (exterior only). Must be redeemed the next day the car wash is open.
